Hi, I'm Rose!

Hello! I'm Rose, an interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that enhance well-being and reflect the unique lifestyles of my clients. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I’ve traded in the Midwest winters for a life on the road, traveling the U.S. in a camper I renovated myself. My journey into tiny living has given me firsthand experience in making the most of small spaces, which I bring into my work every day.

My love for design began in my childhood, growing up in my dad's carpentry shop. With a hammer, some scrap wood, and a little imagination, I discovered the joy of building and creating. This early exposure to DIY projects led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Along the way, I developed a strong foundation in sustainable design and practical problem-solving, skills that I’ve honed over years of working on various projects, from home renovations to commercial spaces.

For eight years, I specialized in designing custom furniture, paint, and art for K-12 schools across the U.S., leading a team of talented designers and managing projects from conception to installation. My work in education design allowed me to combine creativity with practicality, ensuring that each space was not only visually appealing but also met the specific needs of students and educators. Whether it was designing a vibrant cafeteria or a serene administrative office, I loved bringing my clients' visions to life.

Over time, I became increasingly fascinated by how our physical environment impacts our mental and emotional well-being. This interest, combined with my own experiences living in a tiny home, inspired me to start my own interior design consulting business. I saw a growing need for thoughtfully designed, budget-friendly spaces that cater to those living in smaller, non-traditional homes like RVs, skoolies, and tiny houses.

My design philosophy is simple: I believe that your space should make you feel happy just by being in it. It should support your lifestyle, reflect your personality, and encourage the habits that contribute to your overall well-being. My role is to listen to your needs, understand your vision, and use my skills and knowledge to bring it all together into a space that truly feels like home.

When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring new cities, trying out new recipes, or relaxing in a hammock with a good book. I'm passionate about continuous learning, especially when it comes to understanding how design can improve our daily lives.
